Neighbours Support Centre is about people helping people. Rooted in Halifax, we provide support for neighbours in vulnerable situations through inclusive, community-based programs. From mental health and recovery to newcomer support and youth programming, our goal is to connect individuals with the tools and encouragement they need to thrive.
Who will we support?
Newcomers
Opportunities to learn, socialize and build community.
Addictions Support
Support groups for overcoming addictions and habits.
Mental Health Support
Programs and support groups focused on financial stress, emotional health, and mental wellbeing.
Women & Children
Helping with hardships due to abuse and financial constraints. Offering job search, tutoring, and after-school programs and day camps.
Seniors
Opportunities for social activities, connections to resources and promoting a friendly environment and well-being.
